Creating Sales Return Using Sales Order

Sales Order transactions that are Partially or Fully Fulfilled or even those closed ones are allowed to be imported into the Sales Return.

To create Sales Return using Sales Order:
  1. Go to SALES (Menu) > Sales Return (Side menu)

  2. On Sales Return page, populate the Return Date

  3. Click on Import link located at the upper right corner. The import popup page is loaded with Import From defaulted to Sales Order value.

  4. Click on magnifying glass icon next to ID input field and search for an existing Sales Order to import.

  5. Select from search results. The Sales Order search page will be automatically closed and the Sales Order ID will be defaulted on import pop-up page. Click Ok to import the record.

  6. Product details for return is populated in the item table grid and only Returned Quantity and Remarks fields are editable.

  7. On the left side of the item grid table, click on the Warehouse/Bin Location icon to display the returns item grid table.

  8. Scroll down to populate the item withdrawal details for the particular product that you selected. Search for the serial number by clicking on the magnifying glass next to Serial Number input field and select a record.

  9. You may enter any value to filter the search or just leave it blank to search all. Then click the search button on the right side. This action will prompt the system to initiate the search process. Select a record from the search results.

  10. Once the record is selected the Serial Number search page will be automatically closed and the Serial Number, Warehouse and Bin Location details are populated in the table.

  11. Provide Quantity value.

  12. User may provide other optional fields then save the record. New Sales Return in draft status should be created and the Sales Order Id is populated with the Sales Order Id that the record was imported from.
