Linking other transaction to Goods Return
Other Fields feature allows users to refer to transactions that are not directly linked to goods return. For instance, when there are no stocks available, a purchase quotation is created. As it is not possible to generate a purchase quotation directly from a goods return, user can provide a hyperlink utilizing the Other Fields tab.
- Linking other transactions is only possible in read mode.
To link other transactions, go to Other Fields tab.
User can use magnifying glass to search for the transaction type he wants to link. If the user already knows it, he can enter it in the field and press “Enter” key.
If a blue hyperlink appears next to the magnifying glass icon, it indicates that transaction type entered is valid.
After the field name has been filled in, the user can use magnifying glass to search for the transaction ID he wants to link. If the user already knows it, he can enter it in the field value and press “Enter” key.
If a blue hyperlink appears next to the magnifying glass icon, it indicates that the transaction ID (Purchase Quotation ID) entered is valid.
The blue hyperlink next to the magnifying glass is the transaction ID with status which allows users to easily navigate to the Transaction Page (Purchase Quotation) if he has access to view the transaction Information.
