Introduction

A Goods Return is when a buyer (either a business or an individual) returns goods that they bought to the seller for a refund or store credit, depending on the seller’s policy. The buyer might make these returns for various reasons, as long as they align with local laws and the seller’s return policy. Maybe they were unhappy with the product. Perhaps they mistakenly purchased incorrect items, or the seller sent them the wrong products. Or maybe they bought too much of an item and want to return a portion of their order.

The Goods Return page is used to display and maintain a Trade or Non-Trade Goods Return record.

Goods Return Transaction provides you the following information:

List of specific products and their corresponding quantities that have been received.
List of specific products and their corresponding quantities that have been returned.
List of specific products and their corresponding quantities and unit of measure that have been requested.
List of corresponding Goods Receipt that have been created and its status.
The corresponding Purchase Order used for a specific requisition.
Goods Return Transaction Status.
